Let me talk about trying a new thing for me today. Well, it is pretty hard for me to write 500 words blog and I’m wondering how I can reach that much. I think writing 100 every day is much easier than this, but I know that it’s good for us to improve our writing skills= =
Hey, have you guys ever tried to have a part time job? And what kind of part time jobs will you guys want to try if you can? I’ve wanted to try it for a long time. I want to try one related servicing, such as saying “May I help you?” in shops or restaurants, doing money thing in convenience stores, and so on. Aren’t they sound so interesting?! I also think we can experience a lot of new things that we’ve never learned in the school but through the part time jobs. Luckily, one of my mother’s friend asked my mom to introduce a Japanese tutor to her son. He’s going to go to Japan next month as an exchange student and finding a tutor so that he can prepare for his short life in Japan. Then I became his tutor!! This is the first time I teach someone Japanese as a tutor. I don’t know if this can be called as a job or not, but I’m exciting now!!!!
The day before yesterday, he came to my home and we talked about our textbooks and lessons, and also I wanted to know about his Japanese level. His listening skills are very good that I think there are not so much problems. The problems are some grammar, writing and reading. Sometimes he confuses the way to use “ni”, “wo”, “ga” those adverbs. He’s also a little bit poor at writing katakana. Today we had our first lesson. We first talked with each other in Japanese. And then I taught him some grammar that I’ve prepared for this lesson. I wanted to make this first lesson successful, so I’ve searched how to teach Japanese on the internet before the lesson. I think I did fine job today. I want to know how to improve his writing skills…and I want to make him to be able to write some journals after some weeks.
This experience must be very important and helpful for me. I’ve never had an experience like this, so I think this can help me think about what I want to do or I want to be in the future. In the next lesson, I’ll find some short story to let him read, and also show him some videos about Japanese TV program so that he can see normal speed. Just like any languages, what we learn from the textbooks are different from the one really used in our lives. I hope I can do well in next lesson too.
Finally I saw the goal---500words there!!! I think that it’s a hard work to write this much, but I still have 3 or 4 times to write this much…
