We are not in Phuket now~~!! We are in Bangkok now!! The hotel here is very big and nice!! There is really strong free WIFI here~ hahaha.
Today, we visited the great palace, and a strange thing happened. When we got out from the taxi, a Thai man came to us and said, “The palace is closed now. It will open at 2 o’clock, so you have better take taxi again to go sightseeing around here, and come back about one hour later.” Of course at first we believed him, but we didn’t want to go sightseeing. When we said that we want to see around the palace, and tried to walk to the gate, the man stopped us. That was so strange, so we tried to walk to the opposite side then came back again. We found out that the palace is opened normally and many people were going inside. The Thai man was lying to us!!!! We were angry and felt scary…
Well, the inside of the palace was filled with gold everywhere. We walked and looked around for a moment, but there are nothing else to do except walking around, so we came out. After we came out, we found that the speakers in the outside of the palace were saying “Do not trust anyone around the palace” all the time. That was so funny for us hahaha. Actually, we took the Thailand local bus for the first time today. Some of the Thailand people can’t speak English, but all of them were so friendly to help us finding out the way to go back to our hotel.
We experienced many new things today, and also learned not to trust a stranger so easily.
